Francine Foe

Francine Foe is the Director of the New Challenges Foundation on the island of St. Eustatius. She has been working in the second chance education field for eight years. Ms. Foe has a degree in business and logistics. She is responsible to direct and control the foundation operations and to give strategic guidance and direction to the Board to ensure that the foundation achieves its mission and objectives. She emphasizes that everyone deserves a second chance in life. Everyone makes mistakes in life. She believes people are not defined by the mistakes they have made, but how they grow. Throughout the years Ms. Foe has established a good working relationship with other stakeholders and organizations to provide assistance and guidance to persons requesting scholarship (Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland Studiefinanciering), enroll students in school (connection with various schools abroad), course VHF radio operator’s certificate (in collaboration with Bureau Telecommunicatie en Post) and more. She is also deeply committed to helping others achieve their goals. Ms. Foe is also a member of the Board of the Maritime Activities & Trainings Organization St. Eustatius (Matroos) and Expertise Centre Education Care St. Eustatius (ECE). Hobbies: reading, swimming, walking, listening to music.
