The course consists of the following four modules, of which the last one can be selected at the students’ own discretion.

1. Recording Financial Transactions (FA1)
2. QuickBooks (QB)
3. Management Information (MA1)
4. The Power of Positive Thinking (PT) (optional)

The FA1 and MA1 are Foundation-level qualifications on the ACCA ladder. These are collectively referred to as Foundations in Accountancy and are suitable for persons who are just starting out in finance. Or, for persons who work in finance but have no professional qualification to show for their experience.

ACCA stands for Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and is a global professional body issuing highly respected and valued international qualifications in business.

It is recognized by member states of the European Union and the United Nations. An ACCA qualification at its highest level is equivalent to the US CPA qualification, the Canadian CA qualification and the Dutch RA qualification.

Versant is a medium-sized audit, accounting, management advisory and tax consulting firm out of St. Maarten, Curacao, St. Eustatius and Panama with a particular focus on SME and government.

The firm is led by 4 directors who have been working together for over 15 years. They have a combined experience in excess of 80 years in professional financial services. The directors are supported by a 10-person team.
